Welcome to our Innovation event 30th Nov, hosted together with SAAB Group and British-Swedish Chamber of Commerce (BSCC).
On Innovation, as a necessity to survive through and thrive beyond the pandemic.
More than half a year into the pandemic, decision makers are increasingly becoming aware that Innovation is the only effective insurance against irrelevance in the market. The ability to remain attractive to one’s customers is closely linked to a company’s innovation capability, from creative or serendipitous ideation to realised results. During the pandemic, companies have been forced to focus on stabilising the day-to-day operations. Although this has been achieved in new and innovative ways, systematic strategic innovation efforts have been impacted. Overall, development projects have been stopped or postponed to cut costs, dynamic collaboration and co-creation activities have slowed down as people cannot meet in person, and the uncertainties of today are delaying decisions on investments.
At this event, Centigo will share their observations of how companies have handled innovation through the pandemic and what the key drivers are behind the large differences between leaders and laggers, including agility, organisational entrepreneurship, leadership and digital collaboration capabilities.
Saab AB plays a key role in one of the largest ongoing innovation and development projects in Europe, namely the British led Future Combat Air System programme established to design and develop the next generation manned and unmanned fighter jets. Saab will share how innovation is built into its organisation’s DNA, how they have worked to constantly improve its innovation capability, and how they have overcome hurdles during the pandemic.
Centigo’s and Saab’s presentations will take 30-40 minutes, followed by an open Q&A session and discussion moderated by the BSCC.
